Information on the processing of personal data
in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR)
Below we inform you about the processing of your personal data in the context of our application process and about your rights.
Oetker Digital GmbH and further companies associated with Oetker Digital GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “Ventures” – you can find the link to all Ventures here) are part of a group within the meaning of Art. 4 (19) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Oetker Digital GmbH and these Ventures are hereinafter solely referred to as the “Group”).
By submitting your application via our system, you show interest in taking up employment with Oetker Digital GmbH or in attending a recruiting event, as specified in the advertisement.
In addition, if you explicitly agree, we would like to keep your applicant data in our talent pool for 24 months and share it within our Group as needed to provide you with other posts than the one you have applied for (so-called “Talent Pool”).

To the extent that your applicant data is passed on within the Group due to your separate consent, the respective Venture is also the controller.
2. Purpose of data processing and legal basis
Any personal data, including the personal data that you may provide in the enclosures (hereinafter briefly referred to as “Data”) and that you make available to us via this applicant page, will be collected, processed, forwarded, stored and used by the controller for the purpose of processing your application and, if you have consented to be included in the Talent Pool, to probably offer you other interesting jobs within the Group.
Your Data will be used by the controller to fill the post or to attend the respective event for which you have submitted an application and will also be taken into account for other vacant posts within the Group provided that you have consented to be included in the Talent Pool.
The legal basis of this data processing is section 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG) and your consent.
3. Data storage
Your Data is stored in encrypted form in a computer centre in the European Union. Your Data is protected against unauthorised access by encrypted transmission, role and permission concepts, a backup concept and physical protective measures for the servers.
4. Recipients or recipient categories
The persons necessary to fill vacant positions within the Group have access to your stored Data. The Group will never provide your Data to third parties. Your Data will only be used to fill vacancies or participate in events within the Group.
Only selected employees of the respective companies within the Group have access to your Data as well as selected employees of service companies (d.vinci HR-Systems GmbH, Nagelsweg 37-39, D-20097 Hamburg) that support the Group in the automated processing of Data.
5. Data query, maintenance and erasure, right of access and duration of storage
Please note that you are responsible for the accuracy of your Data.
In addition, you have the right at any time to obtain information about your Data, to have any Data blocked or erased, to object to the processing of the Data or to have incorrect Data corrected.
If you do not initiate the erasure of your Data yourself, the Data will be stored for up to six (6) months after the application has been completed and for twenty-four (24) months after the application has been completed, provided you have consented to the inclusion into the Talent Pool. Afterwards, your Data will be erased automatically.
If any legal requirements changed in future require a change of the retention period, this will be adjusted without prior notice.
6. Right of withdrawal
You are always entitled to withdraw your consent to the use of your personal Data by sending an e-mail message to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In that case, we will no longer process your personal Data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing that outweigh the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject or the processing is for the purpose of enforcing, exercising or defending legal claims.
7. Establishment of contact to assert your rights
In order to assert your above-mentioned rights vis-à-vis Oetker Digital GmbH or any of the Ventures, please contact us in writing using the contact details of the above-mentioned controller.
8. Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority
In addition to the rights specified above, you have a right to lodge a complaint with the competent Data Protection Authority.
